All spellings conform to British standard, and since the text of speeches
is essentially all from oral accounts, variant spellings of certain words,
(e.g. ‘co-operate’ versus ‘cooperate’, or ‘judgement’
versus ‘judgment’) have been standardised. All such standardisations
appear below.
All spellings of names conform to one spelling type regardless of variations
that appear in original documents (e.g. Mohamed Ali Jinnah will never
appear as Muhammad Ali Jinnah).
