Statement of Conduct

The Sole Objective of the Jinnah Archive is to:

1. Promote the life work of the founder of Pakistan, Quaid-i-Azam M.A. Jinnah.

In order to achieve this objective, the Officials of the Jinnah Archive undertake to adhere to the following basic rules of conduct:

  1. Make all text of M.A. Jinnah’s oral/written works freely accessible on the Internet via the creation of a searchable database;
  2. In conforming with subsection i. above, never charge individuals or organisations for copying the raw text of Jinnah’s works reproduced at the Jinnah Archive;
  3. Annotate the works, and, wherever necessary, include corresponding appendices;
  4. Provide advice and assistance to individuals or organisations carrying out research on M.A. Jinnah;
  5. Actively promote the life work of M.A. Jinnah through other media;
  6. Require all Officials and contributors to the Archive to observe academic objectivity, in accordance with the Jinnah Archive being a non-partisan organisation;
  7. In conforming with subsection vi. above, issue a formal statement of non-endorsement for all material mentioned at the Jinnah Archive which may not meet this requirement.
